In Culture & Global eLearning, I collaborated on a grant proposal scenario to acquire funding to empower young women in Afghanistan to engage in educational activities using technology and social networks.  

 

The project was based on a belief that information and communication technologies can enhance learning opportunities and empower youth with skills to build a stable economy and equitable society.

  

My contributions aimed to connect UNM’s Cinematic Arts program and Experiments in Cinema. Through these partners, the young women would design a short film to include writing a screenplay, recording video and sound, editing into one complete story, and sharing it with the world.
